Dear Dexter Southfield,
Welcome to The View, our school’s newspaper. My main goal with the newspaper is to bring our school’s culture and events to life through writing, share passions and interests with fellow students, and become the place where all members of our community can come together. Through the interests of our members, The View publishes works across many different media forms including videos, visual art, and writing. It is my prerogative that everything that comes from The View is unbiased, presents the truth about events, and brings in evidence from both sides of any issue.
I have been involved with The View since my sophomore year. Now that I am a senior, my hope is that The View is able to expand, sending out more articles, having more participants, and having The View be a larger part of our school. Finally, once I graduate, I want to be confident that The View will be left to people who are passionate and enthusiastic about creating articles, writing, and organizing the newspaper.
